Details: This student organization is designed for anyone interested in politics, law, journalism, finance or communications. Model Illinois Government is a student-organized, intercollegiate simulation of state
government that takes place each spring in Springfield, Ill. Student participants choose from a wide range of roles including legislators, attorneys, budget analysts, lobbyists and journalists. The NIU
chapter will prepare for the simulation during the fall semester.
The NIU delegation of Model Illinois Government meets the first Tuesday of every month.
